Printmaking Workshop

This is a 2.5 hours workshop for children aged 6-12 years old without any accompanying parents/adults.

For those attending this workshop for the first time, we gently introduce the world of printmaking. The children will explore creating botanical prints and other abstract mixed-media pieces. This workshop is all about understanding the basics and enjoying the art of experimentation.

For those who have attended this workshop before, we will build upon the skills learned in earlier workshops. We will explore a variety of techniques, including masking, collaging, and stencilling. There will be an emphasis on using these techniques to develop a painting idea, story, or theme.

Time permitting, we aim to compile the artwork produced in this course into a small bound book, offering students a tangible showcase of their progress and creativity. (optional)

Please note: All materials are provided and no previous art experience is necessary. Safety is our priority and we only use child-friendly, non-toxic materials in our studio.
