Still life Drawing Workshop

This is a workshop for children aged 6-12 years old without any accompanying parents/adults.

This 2 hour workshop is a fun, playful way to gently introduce children to working with real-life objects and to consider the challenges of transposing 3D objects onto paper.

Through guided activities, the children will explore line-making, shapes, and textures through abstraction and mark-making. They will have access to a range of art mediums from which to choose, including acrylics, watercolours, gouache, and pastels.

The children will also be shown works from selected artists to demonstrate the range of different styles possible within still life drawing and painting.

This workshop will develop their hand-eye coordination and improve their drawing skills.

Please note: All required materials will be provided. No prior experience is needed; the workshop is suitable for both novices and seasoned artists.
